The Burn Center at Cooperman Barnabas is dedicated to prevention. Burn injuries are often life-altering, but are extremely avoidable if you know how to protect yourself and your loved ones. We provide numerous community programs dedicated to keeping you safe.

• FireNET Program provides intervention for children involved in incidents of setting fire.
• Prevention Programs-classroom based programs describe what a burn is and how it affects body systems, treatment, and prevention.
• Burn Awareness Week Poster Contest
• Fire Safety House-trailer that provides hands-on practice of a fire escape plan
• Caregiver Programs-Designed for parents/guardians of children to enhance home safety, particularly in regards to fire and burn safety.
